Position: Global Import Export Shipping Manager
Location: North West London, NW2 7HF
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (includes a 1-hour lunch break)
Hybrid Model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Role overview
This Global Import Export Shipping Manager role focuses on overseeing international logistics operations from Vitabiotics’ North West London office. The position blends strategic planning with hands-on management of global shipping activities, ensuring compliance and efficiency across all import and export processes.
What you will do
- Develop and implement freight and shipping strategies for global markets to improve delivery times, raise service standards, and control logistics costs.
- Manage all international import and export shipments, including sea freight, air freight, UK, and courier services.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, export controls, and all required shipping documentation.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet shipping and customs requirements, building strong relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and 3PLs.
- Negotiate freight rates, service agreements, and contracts with logistics providers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
- Track shipping performance using key metrics such as freight costs, delivery timelines, service levels, and customs clearance efficiency.
- Analyze shipping data and operational metrics to identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
