Role overview The Director of Social Media Strategy leads the B2C social media function at Spotlight Sports Group. This senior position oversees influencer partnerships, paid campaigns, and all social media activities, ensuring alignment with broader brand goals. Collaboration with the AV Audience team is central, with a focus on delivering content that attracts new audiences and keeps current customers engaged. Segmentation and persona insights guide decisions and strategy. What you will do Act as a senior leader within the marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing and helping shape B2C marketing direction. Develop and refine a multi-platform social media strategy for emerging racing audiences, focusing on X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels. Work with the Senior Campaigns Manager and Head of Marketing to drive brand strategy in line with the company’s three-year vision. Create content plans tailored to each platform, including short-form videos, live reactions, graphics, and tipping clips. Prioritize outreach to underrepresented groups, including younger fans, female bettors, and international communities. Oversee the social media function, ensuring content supports the new content strategy and engages audiences in creative ways. Manage influencer partnerships to expand reach and build long-term engagement with Spotlight and Racing Post brands.
