This strategic and consultative team cultivates meaningful relationships with clients by deeply understanding IT professional services, digital transformation, and the dynamic Payments technology landscape.As a Senior Business Development Manager – Payments at Endava, your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage new enterprise clients, showcasing Endava’s extensive capabilities in IT professional services, digital transformation, and bespoke software engineering.This role demands a sales leader with substantial experience in selling complex IT services and custom software development solutions within the Payments ecosystem, including payment providers, fintech companies, banks, and financial institutions.You will guide clients throughout the entire sales lifecycle, assisting them in modernizing and transforming their technology platforms through application development, data and AI engineering, cloud transformation, and digital platform engineering.Key Responsibilities:Act as a trusted advisor, selling IT professional services and custom software development solutions to enterprise clients within the Payments ecosystem.Identify and cultivate new client opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, industry events, referrals, and targeted outreach.Manage and execute the complete end-to-end enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and closure.Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities aligned with revenue targets.Engage with senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CDO, VP Engineering, Head of Payments) to position digital transformation initiatives and tailor technology solutions.Pinpoint client challenges related to legacy systems, payments infrastructure modernization, platform engineering, data and AI, and cloud adoption, positioning Endava’s services as the optimal solution.Lead the creation of proposals, solution positioning, and Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with delivery and solution teams.Negotiate and finalize strategic multi-year IT services agreements.Surpass revenue targets through new business acquisition and strategic account growth.Act as a subject matter expert in the Payments industry, keeping abreast of the evolving technology landscape and emerging trends.Represent Endava at industry events, fintech forums, and payments conferences to enhance market presence and generate new opportunities.Support sales and marketing initiatives by identifying priority targets and ensuring robust follow-up on leads generated through events and marketing campaigns.
