As a Senior Product Manager, you will join our D2C product team and take charge of a vital domain: Monetisation. You will inherit a well-established squad with an active retention and re-subscription roadmap, with the task of evolving it , exploring new revenue growth opportunities and advancing our subscription model development, in collaboration with PMs focused on Growth and Product Experience.
Your Role
We are seeking a commercially astute, data-driven Senior Product Manager to oversee Perlego's direct-to-consumer (D2C) monetisation strategy from start to finish. Your primary metrics will include ARPU, Gross Margin, and CLTV, and you will be responsible for refining the foundations of pricing, packaging, and subscription models to ensure Perlego's consumer revenue remains robust and defensible.
In this high-autonomy role, you will have a significant commercial impact on our consumer business, inheriting a motivated squad that excels in retention and re-subscription, and you will drive it further , leveraging that foundation to unlock expansion revenue opportunities and enhance our subscription model. This is a senior position with considerable influence.
- Lead the D2C monetisation roadmap from day one , articulate the vision, prioritize decisively, and guide our team from concept to launch across pricing, packaging, billing, and ARPU enhancements.
- Enhance D2C unit economics, closely collaborating with our Head of Paid Marketing on acquisition costs (cost to acquire vs. revenue recovered), payment metrics (authorisation rates, dunning, payment method mix), and subscription plan outcomes.
- Steer pricing and packaging strategies , design, test, and optimize subscription plans, pricing tiers, promotional tactics, and billing cycles to maximize user conversion and revenue per user.
- Manage retention revenue , develop and implement strategies for expansion (upselling, plan upgrades) and re-subscription (reactivating lapsed users) as key levers for ARPU growth within the D2C funnel.
- Establish and monitor monetisation metrics , including ARPU, Gross Margin, and CLTV , to ensure our monetisation strategies are effective and aligned with our objectives.
