Sous Chef – French Bistro
Salary up to £32,000
We are in search of a talented Sous Chef for a charming French Bistro located in London. This establishment specializes in authentic French cuisine, utilizing only the freshest seasonal ingredients sourced directly from France. As part of a successful international company, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service in a welcoming environment.
The Bistro operates four days a week, providing lunch and dinner services.
The Sous Chef will:
- Lead a small team in collaboration with the Head Chef.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards while providing training.
- Develop innovative menus and manage costings in partnership with the Executive Head Chef.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of the team.
- Uphold the company’s high standards of operation.
- Exhibit commercial and financial acumen, capable of managing P&L independently.
The ideal candidate will have a consistent career trajectory, preferably with experience in French cuisine and a passion for fresh, seasonal dishes. Candidates from high-quality establishments (minimum 2AA) are encouraged to apply, including Junior Sous Chefs ready for advancement. The Sous Chef will work 8 shifts per week, with no late evenings required.
