This Legal Counsel position is based in London and centers on supporting YouLend’s operations in the US, UK, and Europe, with a particular focus on the US market. The role sits within the legal team and works closely with colleagues across departments to help drive the company’s ambitious growth plans, including targets for annual expansion exceeding 100%.
What you will do
- Advise on legal matters related to product development, technology, commercial negotiations, regulatory compliance, and capital markets.
- Support business activities in the US, with additional involvement in legal issues in the UK and EU.
- Collaborate with legal and cross-functional teams to help YouLend achieve its growth objectives.
Requirements
- Qualified attorney in the US.
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, financing, financial regulation, or fintech.
- Experience at a leading law firm in London.
- Interest in broadening legal practice in an in-house role across multiple jurisdictions.
