About the job
As an Electronics Engineer specializing in Driveline Systems, you will be at the core of our robotic platforms, focusing on the driveline technology that underpins our milking robots and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). This critical technology is essential for ensuring precision, reliability, and long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with system architects, embedded engineers, and mechanical engineers, as well as with external suppliers of motor drive hardware. Your responsibility will be to ensure that driveline components, from motors to controllers, meet functional, performance, and reliability standards.
Your role combines hands-on validation with systems thinking. Whether you are validating hardware on the test bench, assessing supplier schematics, or analyzing integration issues on a robot, your work directly contributes to the development of safe, robust, and high-performance motion systems.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Validating motor drive and power electronics systems through bench testing and verification on robots.
- Ensuring seamless integration of driveline electronics into our robotic systems, with a focus on power distribution and signal integrity.
- Translating functional robot requirements (such as torque, speed, and positioning accuracy) into clear hardware specifications.
- Collaborating with external suppliers to establish, evaluate, and optimize technical specifications and interface definitions.
- Assisting in troubleshooting hardware-software integration challenges in partnership with embedded software engineers.
