You will oversee every facet of our Food and Beverage operations, collaborating closely with the Head Chef to ensure our visitors enjoy exceptional meals and drinks, creating memorable experiences that reflect our commitment to quality.
Cliveden, one of the busiest estates within the National Trust, welcomes approximately 500,000 guests annually. Our visitors can relish refreshments from three outlets, with additional seasonal units catering to various events throughout the year. Every purchase contributes to our vital conservation efforts, allowing us to care for our cherished locations for future generations.
This full-time position is pivotal within our team, fostering an open, inclusive work culture that values flexibility and work-life balance. We are seeking an individual who combines culinary expertise with commercial insight to lead the Food and Beverage team and enhance our offerings.
Your role will involve strategizing to diversify our food and beverage services year-round, aligning them with our programming led by the Visitor Experience team. As a leader, you will inspire both staff and volunteers, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to provide top-notch service that encourages repeat visits.
Whether managing a bustling event on a sunny Sunday or a quiet winter's day, you will maintain composure under pressure, making key decisions to impress our customers while adhering to food safety standards. You will manage all aspects of the food and beverage department, from cost management to staff recruitment and training, ensuring a thriving business that satisfies both visitors and our team.
