Exciting Opportunity for a Groundworks BuyerWe are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our esteemed client, a leading groundworks contractor based in Manchester, as a Buyer. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a well-established team and contribute to significant projects across the North West region.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain efficient procedures and systems for internal ordering of materials and goods from various sites.Ensure compliance with relevant procurement and environmental legislation, focusing on sustainable sourcing and adherence to COSHH regulations.Input internal orders for materials and goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Manage the receipt of goods into the financial system, including the creation of purchase orders, allocation of internal sales orders, stock receipt, adjustments, and processing credit notes.Provide procurement support to site teams by identifying available materials and goods in the market that align with site requirements and cost control best practices.
