Role overview
The Marketplace Manager plays a key role in expanding boohooMAN’s brand presence and supporting e-commerce initiatives. Reporting to the Trading Director, this position collaborates with Product, Marketing, and E-commerce teams to drive profitability and support the company’s global growth strategy. The role involves cross-functional work and close alignment with senior leadership.
What you will do
- Work with senior leadership to define and execute the Marketplace strategy, focusing on new business opportunities and scalable growth.
- Identify, build, and maintain key relationships both inside and outside the company to support Marketplace expansion, including onboarding new partners efficiently.
- Select and onboard brands that fit target demographics by using knowledge of international markets and customer preferences.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with both new and existing collaborators.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and Marketing to refine campaigns, promotions, and pricing based on data insights.
- Support the Debenhams Marketplace and boohooMAN Senior Leadership teams in managing partner contracts.
- Work closely with teams in product, e-commerce, marketing, studio, and legal to integrate brands into the Marketplace.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and apply best practices.
- Lead brainstorming sessions to identify strategic partners aligned with the MAN brand.
- Oversee budgeting and performance reporting for partnerships.
- Plan and execute promotional activities to drive traffic and sales.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market changes to adjust strategies as needed.
- Analyze sales data, partner performance, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Review sales metrics and customer insights to measure success and highlight areas for improvement.
