Join qamentor as a Non-Functional Test Manager in an exciting new role. This is a unique opportunity to establish your expertise in non-functional testing within a respected national company. As the key leader in Non-Functional Testing for our Business Systems, you will have the chance to influence stakeholders and promote best practices in non-functional requirements (NFR).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing end-to-end NFR testing, including Performance and Operational Acceptance Testing.
- Expertly creating Performance Models for large telecommunications systems.
- Conducting performance testing for extensive Telco systems.
- Having comprehensive experience in Operational Acceptance Testing.
- Taking ownership of preventing production incidents related to non-functional requirements and providing Root Cause Analysis for any issues that arise.
- Monitoring and enforcing quality gate processes to prevent defects from affecting downstream testing or production.
- Reviewing all non-functional requirements to ensure they are clear and testable.
- Ensuring traceability and coverage of test requirements.
- Maintaining adherence to the Business Systems Test Strategy across all test levels under your oversight.
- Collaborating with test managers from other technical areas to ensure cohesive end-to-end testing for programs.
- Identifying and establishing appropriate SDLC quality metrics for NFR testing required by the testing function.
- Monitoring key metrics to guide decisions and initiatives for continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Continuously assessing tool usage within the testing function for optimal performance and working with the tools team for necessary enhancements.
- Initiating and maintaining a QA knowledge base for the NFR area, ensuring ongoing updates to knowledge artifacts.
