The primary role of the Sales Executive is to strategically identify, engage, and expand our commercial business within the cannabis greenhouse sector. This position emphasizes relationship-driven selling, focusing on building strategic partnerships to uncover new business opportunities. You will analyze customer needs and collaborate with your team to tailor product and service solutions that drive project wins and account growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Adopt a proactive and enthusiastic approach to developing contacts, engaging with potential prospects, and networking with industry stakeholders to foster business development.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries and communications from customers and prospects.
- Generate leads and create opportunities through professional networking, dedicated prospecting, and cold calling, while driving brand awareness and lead generation initiatives.
- Maintain a current understanding of customer business challenges, market trends, company objectives, competitive landscape, sales strategies, and product offerings.
- Assist in planning and executing trade shows and events, representing the company as needed.
- Identify and nurture relationships with project facilitators, project managers, and influential decision-makers, guiding them towards purchasing our products and services.
- Develop and continuously refine a structured business development plan to achieve strategic goals.
