Role overview Boulay Group seeks an Assurance Senior Associate for its Mankato, Minnesota office. This role centers on delivering accurate financial reporting services to clients. Work includes a balance of independent assignments and collaboration with colleagues. Regular travel to client sites, primarily within the Twin Cities Metro Area, is part of the position. What you will do Conduct compilations, reviews, and audits of client financial statements. Handle complex attestation work, such as analyzing accounts receivable, accrued liabilities, income and expense accounts, equity, investments, and inventory. Review workpapers from basic audits, reviews, and compilations to ensure accuracy and completeness. Delegate tasks and oversee the setup of client files and engagement letters. Plan and coordinate assigned segments of engagements. Determine audit sample sizes and select transactions for testing. Work within established budgetary guidelines. Prepare financial statements and related documents for clients. Research technical accounting issues as needed. Draft client communications and discuss accounting transactions in group or individual meetings. Identify and flag potential risks or concerns related to clients.
