Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service and case management, responding to basic clinical and program inquiries.
- Facilitate therapy access through coordination with patients' healthcare providers, scheduling necessary follow-ups based on individual patient needs.
- Support patients in accessing relevant services such as reimbursement counseling, nursing hotlines, and additional support.
- Process incoming enrollment forms for programs and follow up via phone, mail, or fax for any missing enrollment details.
- Assist with payer research and maintain a health care policy library.
- Identify alternative health care coverage options for patients using simple queries and the PayerPlus database.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Utilize standard office equipment and computer systems proficiently.
- Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a basic understanding of payer eligibility and benefits.
- Effectively resolve associate issues as they arise.
