Role Overview The Senior Lead - Key Accounts for Performance Sports at On Running AG focuses on driving sales growth and building profitable partnerships with major performance sports retailers in Canada. This role acts as a commercial leader, strengthening relationships to support account performance, brand visibility, and product sell-through. Reporting to the Head of Key Accounts, the Senior Lead uses data and commercial insights to maximize return on investment and support On's premium positioning in the market. What You Will Do Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, adapting On’s global goals into region-specific sales strategies. Build strong, value-focused partnerships by applying insights and proactively identifying new opportunities for shared growth. Lead discussions with both internal teams and external partners, advocating for customer needs across departments such as Product and Marketing. Use analytics and reporting to guide annual sales plans, improve product assortments, and refine merchandising approaches. Support brand awareness through in-store and digital launches, special events, and collaborative brand storytelling with retail partners. Create and deliver data-backed sales presentations that highlight the commercial and brand benefits of proposed strategies. Apply industry knowledge to monitor market trends, competitor actions, and consumer preferences, recommending new growth paths for the brand. What We’re Looking For At least 7 years of progressive experience in sales, buying, merchandising, or planning roles with a premium or performance-focused global retailer, especially supporting key accounts or wholesale channels. Proven track record managing premium national or global accounts, with the ability to strengthen partnerships and anticipate complex client needs. Advanced skills in retail math and analytics to forecast, plan, and solve business challenges using data-driven approaches. Deep understanding of the sportswear and performance sector, including consumer trends, new technologies, and key market dynamics.
