We value diverse backgrounds and consider them a core strength of our organization.THE TEAM AND ROLEIn the role of (Senior) Accounting Manager (all genders), you will take proactive ownership of our accounting functions, financial governance, and ensure audit readiness. You will oversee our essential financial processes, ensuring reliability, strong controls, and scalability—delivering the data and process quality that our management and investors depend on for informed decision-making.You will assume full responsibility for the monthly and annual financial close in collaboration with our external accounting partner, guaranteeing accurate and audit-ready financial data. You will also manage our operational finance processes, encompassing invoicing, accounts receivable, and approval workflows, thereby laying the groundwork for efficient operations and high-quality reporting.Reporting directly to our Head of Finance, you will be the primary liaison for external partners, including tax advisors, auditors, and customer accounting departments.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESOversee and guarantee the quality of the monthly and annual financial close under HGB, including managing accruals, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and conducting systematic plausibility checks.Lead AR/AP governance: manage invoice runs, dunning processes, payment approvals, vendor relationships, and oversee spending and approval workflows.Enhance our operational finance processes (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, approval and control processes), establishing scalable policies, standards, and documentation.Coordinate and communicate with tax advisors, auditors, and other external partners to ensure comprehensive, accurate, and audit-ready documentation.Strategically develop the accounting function and the internal accounting organization, including taking on initial leadership responsibilities.
