Role overview The Assistant Chief Building Engineer at LPC in Nashville, TN supports daily operations within the engineering department for the Corporate Advisory & Solutions division. This role works closely with the Senior Chief Engineer, handling both technical and administrative duties. Key tasks include planning mechanical preventive maintenance and supervising the maintenance staff. When required, the Assistant Chief Building Engineer covers the Chief Engineer's responsibilities to ensure smooth building operations. Main responsibilities Lead and direct the maintenance team during assigned shifts, making sure work is completed efficiently and building operations continue with minimal disruption. Train and mentor operational staff to help them develop skills and advance professionally. Oversee the preventive maintenance program by scheduling tasks, assigning work, ordering parts and equipment, and tracking inventory.
