Responsibilities will involve processing procurement documents and contracts, advising and assisting various staff members throughout the procurement process, and ensuring compliance with city and agency procurement policies.Key responsibilities include: obtaining price quotes for goods and services, gathering and analyzing vendor information, managing procurements from initiation to completion (including Small Purchases, M/WBE Noncompetitive Small Purchases, and Intergovernmental Purchases), reviewing purchasing requisitions and procurement documents, negotiating prices and terms with vendors, notifying vendors of their authorization to provide services, and serving as a liaison between agency end-users, vendors, and oversight agencies. Familiarity with FMS, PASSPort, and other City information systems is essential for preparing contracts for registration and conducting necessary responsibility determinations.
