We are currently in search of a quantitative investment analyst to further develop our asset allocation, pricing, and optimization frameworks with a particular emphasis on insurance asset-liability management (ALM).This role operates at the nexus of quantitative finance and insurance, contributing to portfolio construction for both reinsurance blocks and retail insurance products, while engaging in collaborative efforts with actuarial, risk, and investment teams.RESPONSIBILITIESPortfolio Construction & ALMDevelop and optimize asset portfolios for reinsurance blocks and retail insurance products (including annuities, life insurance, and pension risk transfer).Create asset allocation models that integrate regulatory capital requirements, duration matching, and cash flow analysis.Assist in pricing new business by modeling optimal allocations and projecting expected returns for potential transactions.Enhance the ALM framework to aid in deal assessment and portfolio structuring.Analytics & AttributionEstablish attribution frameworks to clarify portfolio performance across various asset classes, sectors, duration, and credit qualities.Examine market influences such as interest rate fluctuations, credit spreads, and equity volatility.Utilize quantitative methods to monitor portfolios while working in tandem with actuarial, risk, and finance teams.Prepare insightful presentations for senior investment committees and portfolio managers.Platform Development
