PMA Consultants is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to lead a portfolio of prestigious Aviation projects. This pivotal role involves independently managing small to medium-sized construction projects or segments of larger programs. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within defined scope, budget, and timeline.
Ideal candidates will exhibit strong leadership qualities, possess technical expertise, and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams with minimal supervision. In addition to managing project execution, the Assistant Project Manager will also assist in contract administration, risk management, and quality assurance/control processes. This role serves as a vital link among clients, contractors, and internal teams, addressing issues, enhancing communication, and applying best practices in project management throughout the organization. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model, requiring on-site presence at Newark Airport while allowing for some remote flexibility. The position reports directly to the Senior Project Manager.
