Your Responsibilities
As a Graduate in the R&D Incentives Advisory team at S&W, you will immerse yourself in a distinctive consultancy role that drives innovation forward.
You will collaborate directly with businesses across the UK, assisting them in claiming tax relief for their innovative activities. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of experts in engineering, science, technology, and tax, you will gain insights into a multitude of sectors, including Aerospace & Defence, Architecture, Construction, Manufacturing, Biotechnology, and Software Development – the possibilities are virtually limitless.
On a daily basis, you will engage with designers, project engineers, CEOs, and CFOs, amassing comprehensive experience in both the technical and strategic facets of innovation. You will delve into cutting-edge technologies and development challenges, uncovering the intricacies behind complex engineering projects, translating technical obstacles into persuasive reports, and assisting businesses in realizing the value of their R&D endeavors through tax relief. This experience will not only enhance your technical acumen but also refine your communication, consulting, and stakeholder engagement abilities in a client-centric atmosphere.
Moreover, you will aid clients in calculating the value of their claims, acquiring valuable technical knowledge regarding tax legislation and corporate finance operations.
Throughout your training contract, you will work towards obtaining the ATT/CTA qualification, highly esteemed in the professional services sector, applying your growing technical expertise in concert with this qualification.
