This position involves preparing vehicles for the painting process, including sanding, priming, and masking, with opportunities for growth within our team.Key Responsibilities: Smooth vehicle surfaces using various tools such as sandpaper and grinders to prepare for painting. Apply masking materials to protect areas of the vehicle not intended for painting. Clean, sand, and prime surfaces to ensure optimal painting conditions. Ensure paint adheres correctly by removing dirt and imperfections. Assist in mixing paint and primers to meet manufacturer specifications. Help in operating and maintaining painting equipment and tools. Work collaboratively with the painting team to maintain efficiency and quality standards. Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

The ideal candidate will have the expertise to assess and repair vehicles that have suffered damage, restoring their structural integrity, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential traits for success in this role.Key Responsibilities:Analyze damage reports and repair estimates to plan the necessary work.Conduct thorough examinations of collision damage, ensuring all vehicle exterior parts and power accessories are functioning correctly.Perform comprehensive structural and body repairs, which includes the repair and replacement of essential components such as front ends, doors, frames, and underbody parts.Straighten bent frames and eliminate dents and defects using specialized tools and techniques.Execute welding tasks using MIG welders and spot welders as required.Dismantle damaged areas of the vehicle to uncover hidden damages and ensure a complete repair process.Utilize power and hand tools for filing, grinding, and sanding surfaces in preparation for painting.Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, applying primers, and repainting surfaces.Fill holes and seams using soldering equipment or plastic filler.Restore vehicles to factory specifications, ensuring compliance with OEM standards.Inspect repaired vehicles and conduct test drives to confirm proper handling and safety.Read and comprehend repair estimates and automotive procedures.Work with various materials, including metals, plastics, and electrical components.
