About the Role:
At Paytm Travel, we are constructing one of India’s most trusted and innovative travel platforms. In the role of General Manager for Travel Growth, you will be pivotal in defining the future of our Travel category by driving innovation, scalability, and customer satisfaction. This high-impact leadership position entails comprehensive business ownership.
We seek a proactive and strategic business leader to head the Travel Growth function. The ideal candidate will oversee end-to-end growth within the travel category, managing P&L, analytics, category management, and strategic growth initiatives. This role demands a combination of analytical acumen, strong execution skills, and customer-focused thinking to unlock sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Ownership:
● Take ownership of and achieve top-line and bottom-line targets for the Travel business as outlined in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
● Ensure ROI-driven marketing spend while maintaining sustainable unit economics.
● Continuously optimize the revenue funnel and enhance profitability through data-driven decision-making.
Growth Strategy & Execution:
● Define and implement the growth roadmap for Travel, balancing immediate performance with long-term category expansion.
● Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, sales activations, and category campaigns that enhance user acquisition and retention.
● Identify new growth opportunities and pilot initiatives; scale successful ones throughout the business.
Analytics & Insights:
● Lead the analytics initiative to deeply understand customer behavior and market trends, enabling informed strategic decisions.
