Responsibilities:Erect and install structural steel components as per blueprints and specifications. Execute welding and bolt-up tasks to secure structural elements effectively. Utilize various tools and equipment to fabricate, measure, and cut steel beams and columns. Safely operate cranes and aerial lifts for positioning structural components. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and structural integrity. Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and engineers to complete projects on schedule and within budget. Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Iron Worker in the construction sector. Solid understanding of structural steel components and their installation processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficient in the safe operation of cranes, aerial lifts, and other construction equipment. Exceptional welding and bolt-up skills. Familiarity with safety regulations in the construction industry.
