Our clientele ranges from small craft brewers to multinational corporations across the UK and globally.Located at our Tivetshall Maltings site, strategically positioned between Norwich and Diss, we continue to invest significantly in our production capabilities. Our unique selling proposition lies in our extensive range of specialty and base malts tailored for the brewing industry, complemented by a growing international export business.This production site operates 24/7, featuring an array of both traditional and state-of-the-art equipment, including PLC-controlled roasting ovens and germination vessels, alongside tried-and-true driers and conveyors. The Production Manager will oversee the critical end-of-process area, which includes bagging, palletizing, storage, and managing logistics for our UK and international customers. Quality assurance is paramount, as you will serve as the gatekeeper for our product standards. With our ongoing investment and commitment to continuous improvement, we are keen to expand our site management team.This role collaborates with a team of Production Managers working Monday through Friday, with a shared 24/7 responsibility across different production areas. You will ensure product quality, motivate the team, uphold health and safety standards, and actively drive improvements in processes and performance metrics. Although this is a daytime role, you will be required to handle out-of-hours calls and be part of a weekend rota with the management team to provide guidance and quality assessments.While people management is a vital aspect of this position, a strong understanding of the malting science is necessary to meet our customers' expectations for added value.
