Your contributions will significantly impact the entire production process, encompassing material planning, the creation of work instructions, and the management of technical documentation.

Are you a driven Engineer with a passion for technology and yacht construction?We would love to meet you!Our Mechanical Engineering department is seeking a designer—an Engineer who takes pride in crafting and developing customized solutions for the finest yachts.Your Responsibilities:As a designer within the Mechanical Engineering department, you will create and develop systems for the intricate technology of our yachts. Collaborating closely with the Project Leader and Work Preparer, you will contribute to the complete technical specification of the yacht. From ventilation and heating systems to hydraulic installations and plumbing—these are the unseen elements that ensure the yacht operates seamlessly. You will draft piping layouts, schematics, and routing based on the design plan, as well as sketch panels and other components, organizing the technical spaces. Proficiency in AutoCAD, supplemented by specialized 2D and 3D drawing software, is essential. Your clear and thoughtful working drawings will enable the Production department to operate efficiently, providing you with a sense of fulfillment. The yachts you work on are distinguished by their quality in design, engineering, and finishing, with each yacht being a unique masterpiece. Imagine a cinema screen integrated into the deck or a tender concealed behind a wing door—these high-tech innovations and variety make this role truly exceptional.Your Work Environment:The Mechanical Engineering department is one of three engineering divisions at Heesen Yachts in Oss. The other two are Shipbuilding Engineering, responsible for hull construction, and Interior Engineering, focused on the interior design. Here, you will engage with not just one component of the yacht but the entire technical design. You will remain involved throughout the entire process, from drafting to handover to the crew. Remarkably, every yacht is constructed at our facility in Oss, with production halls located right next to your workspace, enabling you to witness firsthand how your ideas materialize.
