Role Overview
The Recruiting Coordinator joins a growing team in Palo Alto and supports hiring across research, engineering, product, and operations. This role centers on creating a positive candidate experience and ensuring smooth recruiting operations as Odyssey scales.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate complex interview schedules for multiple open roles, working with founders, researchers, and engineering leaders across time zones.
- Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the process, from first outreach to offer stage.
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (Ashby), track candidate progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure data accuracy.
- Work with Rippling and internal tools to manage onboarding logistics, background checks (using Checkr), and new hire setup.
- Monitor and report on recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline conversion rates, interviewer utilization, and scheduling efficiency.
- Support employer branding by updating job postings on LinkedIn and other sites, curating content for career pages, and assisting with event logistics.
- Arrange logistics for recruiting events, on-site interviews, and candidate travel as needed.
- Spot opportunities to improve recruiting processes and help drive operational efficiency.
