The Role
We seek a highly skilled Senior Device Management Engineer to spearhead the strategy, architecture, and implementation of our global endpoint ecosystem. In this role, you will design and maintain a secure, scalable, and seamless device environment across Linux, Windows, and macOS platforms. Your expertise is vital in providing a “Zero Touch” provisioning experience and advancing enterprise-grade device management for our engineering teams.
As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Intune and Kandji, you will also lead initiatives to enhance device management capabilities for our Linux fleet.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining MDM architecture for Linux, Windows (Intune), and macOS (Kandji) endpoints.
Evaluating and deploying centralized Linux management tools to secure, patch, and standardize our Linux fleet.
Engineering “Zero Touch” provisioning workflows utilizing Windows Autopilot and Apple Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).
Collaborating with the Identity team to integrate device trust with Okta and enforce Conditional Access and Zero Trust policies.
Translating security frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks) into enforceable policies to ensure fleet-wide compliance and rapid patching.
Developing custom scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python to automate remediation and enhance MDM capabilities.
Acting as an escalation point for complex endpoint issues, ensuring a stable and high-performance computing environment.
Implementing modern inventory management and hardware lifecycle practices to optimize device cost and utility.
