Reporting directly to the VP of Hardware Engineering, your contributions will be vital in establishing Rhoda's future Hardware Test & Maintenance organization.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all integration, assembly, and testing processes for humanoid robot prototypes and subsystems.Develop, maintain, and impose standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly and repairs.Establish calibration, alignment, and torque validation routines.Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical integration challenges.Manage inventory, tool calibration, and the organization of the work area.Coordinate failure analysis, rework, and maintenance documentation with engineering teams.Mentor and supervise Technician Level 1 and contract technicians.Assist in system-level validation and ensure field-test readiness of prototype robots.Desired QualificationsTechnical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or precision electromechanical systems.Demonstrated leadership capabilities in technician or integration teams within R&D or prototype manufacturing settings.Proficient in mechanical assembly, harness integration, and troubleshooting of complex systems.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
