The advisor will also lead coordination efforts with multidisciplinary teams to improve access to HIV testing, strengthen assisted notification of contacts, and identify new cases for linkage to CTARV.The advisor must ensure that the implementation of strategies aligns with MINSA objectives and national priorities. Additionally, they will foster partnerships with organizations engaged in the HIV response and propose innovative interventions to strengthen the execution of strategies within the country.Key Responsibilities:1. Provide technical assistance to CLAM and CTARV based on strategies recommended by VIHCA and the Ministry of Health of Panama (MINSA), including promotion, health navigation, Assisted Notification of Contacts (NAC), Provider-Initiated Testing and Counseling (PITC), Self-testing, among others focused on the identification of new HIV cases. In collaboration with the Regional HIV Testing and Linkage Team and Country Coordinator, ensure proper functioning and follow-up of local components through various interventions across the country.Activities:Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with key staff through technical meetings, reports, and ongoing communication to monitor progress and provide recommendations for optimal performance of strategies and indicators.Ensure compliance with the work plan approved by the donor and guarantee that proposed actions and others are executed.Identify technical assistance needs of the teams at CLAM and CTARV.2. Advise and maintain continuous communication with site teams to coordinate necessary actions (as applicable) for optimizing functions and job performance, including coordination with the Care and Treatment Advisor, Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor, Laboratory, and Communication, all done with the consent and knowledge of the Country Coordinator who is the immediate supervisor for this position.
