Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the optimal functioning of all electrical systems within the solar PV plant, adhering to regulatory standards and promoting overall system health.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on solar PV systems, focusing on both DC and LV components and their connections.
- Address and troubleshoot electrical failures associated with solar PV systems, initiating fault diagnosis and implementing corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for all corrective and preventive maintenance activities through established channels.
- Supervise and evaluate the work of contractors engaged in tasks related to the solar PV system.
- Compile and deliver inspection reports, preventive maintenance reports, and warranty claims for components like inverters, PV modules, and data loggers.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reports detailing electricity production, efficiency, availability, maintenance activities, outages, inspection results, and any recommended services.
- Engage with regulatory bodies such as the Energy Commission (ST), Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), and Electrical Consultants regarding solar PV system matters.
- Responsible for the timely submission of the Plant Performance Report to the Energy Commission (OAS System) each month.
- Manage and sustain the inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Support the project execution team during the solar PV system installation phase.
- Participate in various O&M-related tasks for Residential, Commercial & Industrial, and Large-Scale Solar projects as directed by the Engineer.
