The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to assess damaged vehicles and restore them to their original structural integrity, functionality, and appearance. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:Analyze damage reports and repair cost estimates to strategize repair work.Conduct a thorough examination of collision damage, checking all vehicle exterior parts and power accessories to ensure they are in proper working order.Perform comprehensive structural and body repairs: Replace or repair front-end components, body parts, doors, frames, and underbody components. Assess, repair, or replace electrical components and other vehicle accessories as needed.Straighten bent frames utilizing frame pulling and anchoring equipment, and remove dents and imperfections using specialized tools.Execute welding tasks using MIG welders and compression spot welders.Completely dismantle damaged vehicle areas to uncover hidden damages early in the repair process, replacing parts as necessary.Skilfully file, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using both power and hand tools.Prepare auto body surfaces for painting, including masking, applying primers, and repainting.Utilize soldering equipment or plastic fillers for filling holes and seams.Restore vehicles to factory specifications and thoroughly inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to ensure proper handling.Interpret and comprehend repair estimates effectively.
