In this role, you will collaborate closely with our skilled attorneys, providing essential support throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-trial preparations to post-trial activities.ResponsibilitiesDraft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda.Electronically file court documents in both state and federal courts.Maintain communication with clients, court officials, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.Perform legal research and factual investigations to support case strategies.Assist in the preparation of discovery documents, including interrogatories and responses.Draft and serve summonses as required.Coordinate and summarize depositions effectively.Compile trial binders and prepare exhibits.Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, ensuring timely filing with the court.Handle administrative tasks, including calendaring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics.Maintain detailed indexes of pleadings and discovery materials.Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices for easy retrieval.Assist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests as needed.Gather pertinent information from various sources to support case development.Serve as a liaison between trial teams and both internal and external third parties.Prepare witnesses for trial.Assist with case settlements as directed.Perform additional tasks as assigned by the attorney.QualificationsAssociate's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience is preferred.Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience is required.Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred.Experience in Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, Premises Liability, or similar practice areas is preferred.Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload effectively with minimal supervision.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in scheduling depositions, mediations, and hearings.
