Surveying Assistant

Join SGS, a global leader in inspection, verification, testing, and certification, as a Surveying Assistant. In this full-time role, you will support our topographic surveying team in various field locations, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.

 - Ensure the accurate and timely execution of physical sampling processes and sample preparation.- Provide prompt and precise information to the immediate supervisor as required.- Request necessary consumables to facilitate operational tasks effectively.- Adhere to relevant technical, operational, and quality standards and procedures applicable to the area.- Maintain and appropriately handle all equipment under your responsibility.- Uphold safety standards set by SGS Colombia and the client within the work area.- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment during task execution.- Report any non-conforming products or customer complaints to the immediate supervisor without delay.- Actively participate in identifying corrective and preventive actions and improvements.- Engage actively in both internal and external audits scheduled by the Natural Resources Sector.- Perform additional tasks assigned that are inherent to the position.
