About the job
Revolution Medicines is a pioneering clinical oncology enterprise focused on developing innovative targeted therapies for patients battling RAS-addicted cancers. Our research and development pipeline includes advanced RAS(ON) inhibitors aimed at inhibiting various oncogenic RAS protein variants. Our lead candidates currently in clinical trials include daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a multi-selective RAS(ON) inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a selective inhibitor for RAS(ON) G12C; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), targeting RAS(ON) G12D; and RMC-5127, aimed at RAS(ON) G12V. As part of our dedicated team, you will collaborate with exceptional professionals committed to advancing treatment options for patients with mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
The Opportunity:
We invite applications from passionate structural biologists eager to contribute to multiple oncology therapeutic programs. The ideal candidate will possess substantial hands-on experience in sample preparation, data acquisition, and analysis through X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM. You will leverage your expertise to form compound-driven complexes and optimize crystallization and CryoEM conditions, aiming to uncover high-resolution structural data that will enhance small molecule design and mechanistic insights. We are looking for a collaborative team player who thrives in an interdisciplinary environment, driving the development of cutting-edge oncology therapeutics.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute experiments to elucidate small molecule-driven multi-protein complex structures through CryoEM and X-ray crystallography.
Conduct cryo-EM grid screening, optimization, data collection, and refinement to facilitate high-quality structure determination.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including chemists, computational chemists, biologists, project teams, and management, effectively communicating structural data within the broader context of drug discovery.
Maintain meticulous records and facilitate clear communication among internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate a strong desire for innovation in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with diverse colleagues across the organization.
