Role Overview
The Business Development Specialist joins the Enterprise Sales team in Riyadh. This individual contributor role focuses on bringing in new business and strengthening relationships with existing clients. The position involves identifying prospects, cold calling, and using personal networks to secure new clients, as well as managing current accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention. The specialist works closely with clients to understand their goals and matches cequens’ CPaaS and SaaS solutions to their needs. There are no direct reports in this role.
Main Responsibilities
Sales and Revenue
- Achieve or surpass sales targets for new client acquisition within assigned accounts.
- Prepare and deliver regular progress updates and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders, using key account metrics.
Contract Management and Negotiation
- Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements, aiming for terms that benefit both the client and cequens.
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions that meet customer requirements.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing attentive service and addressing their business needs.
- Serve as the main contact for assigned clients, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction.
Account Retention and Expansion
- Monitor client use of cequens products to spot opportunities for deeper engagement and upselling.
- Develop strategies to retain current clients and increase revenue through cross-selling and upselling.
Feedback and Market Insights
- Gather client feedback to support ongoing customer service and product improvements.
- Stay current on industry trends and share relevant market insights with the company.
