Role Overview
The Senior Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in driving substantial revenue growth by managing complex deals, securing strategic partnerships, and consistently exceeding sales goals. This position oversees the entire sales cycle while exemplifying best practices in sales execution, deal management, and CRM utilization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Strategic Prospecting
- Actively generate and develop high-quality leads through proactive outreach, referrals, and market analysis.
- Evaluate potential partners based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), commercial viability, and long-term revenue prospects.
- Establish and nurture a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Sales Leadership & Deal Ownership
- Manage the complete sales process from initial contact through to contract signing.
- Conduct high-stakes discovery, presentations, and negotiations with senior stakeholders.
- Structure, negotiate, and finalize complex agreements while adhering to established commercial guidelines.
- Foster urgency and maintain momentum throughout longer sales cycles.
Revenue & Performance Management
- Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly revenue targets consistently.
- Accurately forecast revenue and ensure pipeline integrity.
- Document all sales-related activities, deal stages, and next steps in the CRM effectively.
- Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities, addressing them swiftly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with onboarding, operations, finance, and account management teams to ensure seamless partner activation.
- Mentor junior sales staff by sharing knowledge, best practices, and offering informal coaching.
- Provide valuable feedback to product, operations, and leadership teams based on insights from partners and market trends.
Process, Governance & Improvement
- Maintain high standards of deal quality, thorough documentation, and commercial discipline.
- Contribute to the enhancement of sales processes, playbooks, and tools.
- Share competitive intelligence and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
