As a Senior Stakeholder Coordinator for Local Content, you will oversee and enhance stakeholder relationships and local content initiatives in alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards. This dynamic role requires active engagement with local communities, government entities, contractors, and various stakeholders to foster collaboration, adherence to regulations, and promote sustainable development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement stakeholder engagement strategies that align with project objectives and local content directives.
- Coordinate local content initiatives to optimize local workforce, supplier, and business participation.
- Act as the primary contact between the project team, local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance with local content regulations and contractual obligations, providing regular reports.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and public consultation sessions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation regarding stakeholder engagement, grievances, and local content reporting.
- Collaborate with project management and other departments to integrate local content goals into project execution.
- Identify and promote opportunities for capacity building among local suppliers and workforce.
- Address and resolve stakeholder concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Additionally, support the preparation of periodic reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
