The ideal candidate will foster a culture of proactive leadership, ensuring adherence to top Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols while nurturing positive employee relations.In this position, you will oversee our cutting-edge plastics recycling and manufacturing teams, driving success in Key Performance Indicators related to productivity, while working in partnership with colleagues and departmental leaders.Key Responsibilities:Environmental, Safety, Risk & Compliance:• Ensure full compliance with SHEQ standards, including mandatory PPE, pre-use safety checks, equipment inspections, maintenance, and housekeeping.• Verify that all agency employees complete induction requirements and maintain ongoing compliance with SHEQ standards.• Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections and take necessary actions based on findings.• Ensure that Team Leaders conduct regular toolbox talks and departmental inspections.• Maintain world-class housekeeping standards, ensuring the site is always audit-ready.• Promptly close all assigned corrective actions.• Champion Health & Safety, Environmental statutory, and company regulations during night shifts.• Ensure all products meet required quality standards and that all quality checks, including moisture and mass balance, are completed as needed.Operations:• Ensure that manufacturing KPIs are achieved and investigate opportunities for improvement.• Monitor and ensure that all plant and equipment are cleaned, maintained, and serviced to high standards, facilitating timely repairs through collaboration with other departments.
