In this role, you will take structured ownership of the transition by aligning business needs with IT capacity.
Your Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities of the IT Demand Manager - Business Applications
Management of Requirement Inflow
You will be the primary contact point for business specifications directed towards IT, providing guidance to the business about IT realities.
Ensure completeness, consistency, coherence, and feasibility within the IT architecture.
Consolidation of requests.
Efficient Translation from Business to IT
Document technical constraints and limitations.
Determine the impact on the application landscape and propose potential solutions.
Act as a point of contact for developers and architects.
Expectation Management & Alignment
Translate IT capabilities and limitations to operational staff.
Provide feedback to operations about progress and decisions.
Oversee and share the (sprint) backlog, actively participating in prioritizing requests.
Value Add of the IT Demand Manager - Business Applications
Prevents IT from always being reactive.
Quickly recognizes if a request is realistic, feasible, and complete.
Stops immature ideas from reaching IT prematurely.
Makes implicit assumptions explicit, reducing rework.
Enhances trust between operations and IT.
Serves as the main point of contact for operations.

A full-time position of 40 hours per week.
