On this robust foundation, we are developing Large Tabular Models—advanced systems that learn cross-column and relational structures for delivering trustworthy answers and automation, complete with built-in provenance and governance.Role OverviewAs we embark on our journey to become a leading generational structured AI company, we are seeking a Founding Head of Finance to spearhead Strategic Finance, Capital Markets, FP&A, and overarching Company-Wide Performance Architecture.This pivotal role is designed for a visionary finance leader eager to help shape a generational company by architecting the financial engine, securing capital, and developing a performance model directly linked to long-term value creation.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will take ownership of:Capital Strategy & FundraisingCollaborate closely with the CEO to orchestrate growth rounds between $50M and $100M+ across Series B and beyond.Develop and oversee the long-term financial model, capital strategy, and investor narrative.Cultivate and maintain relationships with premier venture, growth, and crossover investors.Lead diligence processes, manage investor Q&A, and facilitate board-level financial communications.Strategic Finance, FP&A & SystemsConstruct forecasting models, scenario modeling, pricing strategies, and long-range planning systems.Implement the operational discipline essential for scaling through Series B, C, D, leading to an IPO.Conduct comprehensive analysis on unit economics, go-to-market efficiency, R&D leverage, and infrastructure cost modeling.Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to align financial strategies with the product roadmap and scaling efforts.Enterprise EconomicsTranslate Granica’s systemic and technical value into outcomes relevant to CFOs: reducing infrastructure costs, expanding margins, and ensuring multi-year cost predictability.Utilize firsthand experience in evaluating large-scale data, cloud, or infrastructure expenditures to rigorously assess pricing, ROI models, and replacement economics vis-à-vis incumbent providers.
