The team operates in person, focusing on real impact for families and communities. Role overview The AI Product Manager will own the onboarding and activation journey for providers on Wonderschool’s platform. This position is hands-on and customer-facing. Daily work involves direct conversations with providers to uncover their needs, then translating those insights into AI-powered product improvements. The role covers the full cycle from gathering feedback to deploying solutions. This is an in-person role based in either San Francisco, California or Columbus, Ohio. What you will do Engage directly with providers to guide onboarding, understand pain points, and build strong relationships. Turn customer feedback into product workflows that use AI to reduce manual work and improve support. Quickly design and launch new features, using AI tools for prototyping and accelerating development. Develop onboarding experiences that help providers achieve independence and success. Automate repetitive onboarding and activation steps with AI solutions. Collaborate with engineering and operations to scale what works and sunset what doesn’t. Analyze product data to set priorities and measure the impact of changes. Requirements Degree in Computer Science and additional business education. Ability to blend technical thinking with clear, structured communication. Experience using AI tools to streamline work and improve products. Comfort working closely with engineers and customers to solve complex challenges. Interest in integrating AI throughout the customer experience. What success looks like Providers complete onboarding faster and with fewer issues, tracked weekly. Manual onboarding steps are replaced by AI-driven workflows in critical areas. Onboarded providers give high satisfaction scores: NPS of 9.5–10 or CSAT of 4.8–5. More than 80% of onboarded providers become paying customers.
