Your Role
As our Senior People Systems Partner, you will be the driving force behind our Workday operations. Your responsibilities will include configuring business processes, crafting reports, executing EIBs, maintaining tenant hygiene, and supporting integrations. This role is deeply embedded in the Workday system.
You will report to the Head of People Systems, Technology & Analytics, while closely collaborating with the People Operations team and other stakeholders across the organization. Your insights will be invaluable in advising on feasibility, best practices, timelines, and potential risks.
Handshake utilizes Workday for HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time & Absence, Payroll, and Integrations. You are expected to adeptly manage core HCM functions and ideally possess expertise in at least one additional module. For specialized projects or complex tasks, we engage an external Workday consulting firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted technical advisor to the People Systems lead, providing clear insights on feasibility, approaches, level of effort, and risks.
Work closely with People Operations on daily Workday tasks; partner with HRBPs, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, IT, and Engineering Operations.
Transform ambiguous business requirements into effective Workday-native solutions while communicating trade-offs transparently.
