GGRC is hiring a Supervising Social Worker for the Early Start Assessment department in San Francisco. This position leads a team of Social Workers, manages assessment processes, and upholds strong service standards for children and families.
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide assigned Social Workers, ensuring effective use of time and resources.
- Work with the Manager of Intake and Assessment to recruit, train, and evaluate staff.
- Represent the administration on community committees and task forces as needed.
- Help develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Review staff documentation for accuracy and ensure compliance with standards.
- Serve as backup for the Assessment Manager and oversee Early Start and Lanterman eligibility assessments.
Additional Duties
- Support Assessment Social Workers as needed.
- Participate in audit reviews and prepare for oversight of Early Start cases.
- Join special projects and complete other assigned tasks.
- Follow confidentiality requirements under HIPAA and the California Lanterman Act.
