About The Role
This is a remarkable opportunity to collaborate closely with our Marketing teams at a rapidly growing pre-IPO startup, as a key member of Verkada's Strategic Finance & Business Operations team. You will serve as an essential analytical partner to our CMO, Data Science, and Demand Generation leaders, assisting in spend allocation decisions and evaluating the effectiveness of our Marketing initiatives. Your role will also involve leading quarterly business reviews, setting overarching goals and key performance metrics, and managing other executive operating rhythms. This position reports directly to the VP of Strategic Finance & Business Operations.
In this role, you will:
- Act as the primary business partner to the Marketing organization, owning all budgeting and planning processes.
- Guide the planning and goal-setting efforts for Marketing-driven pipeline, ROI, and budget allocations, ensuring alignment with the company's broader top-line objectives.
- Generate insights regarding the performance of our various acquisition channels and marketing programs throughout the funnel and buying lifecycle.
- Lead crucial change initiatives within Marketing to facilitate business operations at an elevated scale.
