In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, refinishing, and applying paint to repaired vehicles, guaranteeing a flawless finish that aligns with industry standards and meets customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Sanding, masking, priming, and painting vehicles utilizing approved techniques and materials.Blending paint and ensuring accurate colour matching.Applying clear coats and final finishes for a premium appearance.Inspecting repaired and painted areas for defects and ensuring compliance with shop and OEM standards.Operating and maintaining spray guns, paint booths, and other equipment in a clean and safe manner.Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining compliance with environmental regulations (VOC, waste disposal, etc.).Communicating effectively with estimators, body technicians, and other team members to facilitate efficient workflow.Keeping detailed records of paint materials used and minimizing waste.Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives and training to stay current with refinishing techniques.Operating and maintaining painting tools, spray guns, and other equipment with precision.Inspecting painted surfaces for quality and performing touch-ups as necessary.Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results.Carrying out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.Requirements:2-3 years of experience as an Autobody Painter in a collision repair setting.Strong knowledge of automotive refinishing processes, paint systems, and colour matching.Proficiency in working with various paint lines (waterborne and solvent-based).Familiarity with collision industry repair processes and standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and restoring vehicles that have sustained damage, ensuring they meet original structural integrity, functionality, and aesthetic standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and adaptable to changing priorities.Primary Responsibilities: Review damage reports and repair cost estimates to plan the necessary work. Conduct thorough inspections of collision damage, examining all vehicle exterior body parts and ensuring all power accessories are operational. Perform structural and comprehensive body repairs, including the assessment, repair, or replacement of front-end components, doors, frames, and underbody components. Straighten bent frames using specialized pulling and anchoring equipment; repair dents and defects using hammers and blocks. Utilize MIG welders and compression spot welders for vehicle welding tasks. Fully dismantle damaged vehicle areas to identify hidden damages as early as possible, utilizing tools such as wrenches and cutting torches. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using both power and hand tools. Prepare auto body surfaces for painting by masking and taping, applying primers, and repainting as required. Use soldering equipment or plastic fillers to repair holes, dents, and seams. Restore vehicles to factory specifications, ensuring that all repairs meet OEM standards. Inspect repaired vehicles and conduct test drives for proper handling and functionality. Read and interpret repair estimates and automotive repair procedures effectively. Work with various materials including metals, plastics, glass, electrical, and mechanical parts.
