Join Our TeamOtter.ai is on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to fortify our cloud infrastructure and the systems that power our AI-driven meeting tools. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to design and implement robust security measures, enhance our detection and response capabilities, and automate processes to mitigate cloud risks. Collaborating closely with our DevOps and Engineering teams, you will ensure our cloud deployments are secure by default.This is a hands-on role tailored for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, expertly balancing risk management with the need for speed in product delivery while building scalable security capabilities.Your ContributionsDesign and implement secure cloud architectures and guardrails across our environments, including network segmentation, encryption, key management, and secure service patterns.Manage IAM security: oversee access controls, least-privilege policies, privileged access workflows, and conduct regular access reviews.Develop and scale cloud security infrastructure (logging, monitoring, alerting, vulnerability management, and DLP controls as necessary).Enhance CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code with security automation, including secrets detection, dependency scanning, IaC scanning, and policy-as-code.Monitor cloud security signals and investigate alerts; continuously refine detection quality to minimize false positives.Lead incident response efforts for cloud security events, enhancing playbooks, forensics readiness, and response processes.Conduct cloud security assessments and threat modeling for new architectures and significant changes; collaborate with Engineering to drive remediation efforts.
