MLB Network is seeking a Business Growth Analyst & Project Manager based in Secaucus, NJ. This role blends business analysis, operational oversight, and project management to help drive strategic growth and deliver high-quality content production outcomes. The position works closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure business objectives are met and projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Business Growth Analysis
- Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities within targeted markets and industry segments.
- Research potential clients, partners, and market trends to align with MLB Network’s strategic goals.
- Develop targeted client lists, outreach strategies, and maintain opportunity pipelines.
- Analyze opportunities by assessing market size, revenue potential, and competition.
- Prepare briefing materials, market intelligence reports, and presentations to support business development.
- Assist in evaluating potential partnerships and strategies for business expansion.
- Aggregate and review data on resources relevant to business growth opportunities.
- Help turn strategic objectives into actionable project plans.
Project Management
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic initiatives.
- Serve as the main point of contact for both external clients and internal teams on assigned production projects.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and communications to keep all parties aligned.
- Track project progress and client deliverables, providing updates to stakeholders as needed.
- Spot potential issues early and coordinate with teams to resolve them.
- Ensure all deliverables meet timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including timelines, deliverables, and status reports.
Collaboration & General Responsibilities
- Work closely with departments such as Business/Legal Affairs, Finance, Production, Operations, and Marketing to implement initiatives and support client services.
- Facilitate clear communication between leadership, internal teams, and external clients.
- Support efforts to continuously improve business processes across the organization.
