Your Role and Responsibilities As a key member of one of the tightly integrated teams, known as a Pod, you'll ensure that your team's contributions to each release meet the highest quality standards, focusing on defect prevention and user experience while maintaining a holistic view of release quality. Develop comprehensive test plans that outline the scope of coverage, accurate time estimates, resource needs, and any additional requirements to support testing from concept to release. Drive the creation and execution of tailored test suites and cases that align with your Pod’s specific needs and evolving scope. Maintain an organized and prioritized bug database in line with your Pod’s work. Lead the onboarding of external QA resources into your Pod, ensuring their success and alignment with internal processes while fostering strong working relationships. Take ownership of your Pod’s quality output through hands-on testing and ensuring accountability throughout the development stages. Identify pre-production quality concerns by reviewing briefs and design documents, promoting a proactive quality assurance approach. Facilitate Pod-specific playtests to gather feedback, track issues effectively, and ensure follow-up actions are taken when necessary.
