We are looking for a highly skilled Director of Business Development or Senior Manager specializing in AI solutions to join our rapidly expanding AI Solutions division. This division is dedicated to providing top-tier data for Human-Machine Interaction to leading technology firms globally. You will play a pivotal role in managing projects and serving as a strategic partner to our customers, focusing on the collection, enhancement, and processing of training data for machine learning across various AI applications.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in B2B sales, coupled with strategic analysis and marketing skills. Your main responsibilities will include cultivating client relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving successful deal closures. Collaboration with our marketing team to conduct market research and formulate effective business development strategies will also be essential. Note that travel within the United States is a requirement for this position.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional sales, client management, and problem-solving abilities, alongside the capacity to forge robust relationships with clients and internal teams across diverse geographical locations.
DESCRIPTION
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients in the target market, understanding their business and technical needs.
- Collaborate with pre-sales teams to develop winning proposals for both current and prospective clients.
- Identify, qualify, and quantify business opportunities.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and success.
- Draft and execute comprehensive business plans.
- Gain a deep understanding of clients’ business and technical requirements.
- Become a subject matter expert on our products, processes, and operations while staying informed about industry developments.
- Maintain accurate records of business opportunities using TransPerfect’s CRM system.
- Facilitate coordination between production and technology teams across various time zones and cultures.
- Generate and oversee high-value, profitable business agreements.
- Track and manage KPIs, providing both internal and client-facing status reports, including executive updates on account progress, health, risks, and opportunities.
- Participate in trade shows and support marketing initiatives by contributing to case studies and social media efforts.
- Provide precise weekly sales forecasts.
